The Juneteenth Fitness Challenge 2021 | 1900 Push Ups in 19 Days

In 2020 the pandemic sidelined everyone. On top of a global health crisis, there was a spotlight on social injustice, which led to numerous protests, social unrest, and an overall sense of helplessness for the black community. As a black fitness professional, I have seen many fitness challenges spotlight different causes, holidays, and people. I didn’t see many of these challenges highlighting black holidays or people, so I decided to create my own. It started with the Juneteenth workout. In 2021, I decided to take it up a notch and make it into a 19-day push-up challenge. This is the journey of the first 1900 Push Up Juneteenth Challenge.

 The Goal:

1900 Push Ups in 19 days.
