Remember:

As you read through these guided meditations, there will be breaks to go through your breath cadences. Use the chart as a reference to start once you are comfortable; perform the breath cadences with your eyes closed to promote the visualization of your dream coming true.

Ensure you are comfortable reading this meditation series to get the most out of it.

Today's session focuses on planting your dream. Find a place to sit, get into a comfortable position, roll your shoulders back, lift your chest, and read through this eight-second breath cadence, which means you inhale through your nose for 8 seconds and exhale out of your mouth with your lips closed for 8 seconds.

Count the numbers on the page as you inhale, and count them down as you exhale.

Prepare for your following breath sequence.

Let's get started.

Now, I know you may wonder how you plant a dream?

This process is the same as planting a seed if you grow a tree. When you plant a seed to, let's say, grow a fruit tree, you take the seed, you dig a hole, and you input that seed into the Earth. You cover that hole up, water it, and wait until that seed grows, pushes through the dirt, and blossoms into a fruit tree that will provide you with some substance for the rest of your life.

Prepare for your next breath.

When you plant your dreams, you do the same thing as when you plant a seed, but before we can do that, how do you turn your dream into a seed?

Everybody has a dream. Your dream may be to be a doctor, lawyer, nurse, personal trainer, or professional athlete. Before we can plant that dream, we must take it and turn it into a seed.

What I want you to do is visualize your dream. See yourself at the most successful point of your dream and then backtrack that dream to the starting point from the time that you first initiated your dream. Next, visualize your dream from when you overcome the struggles to when you find your first breakthrough to when that breakthrough turns into that clear straightaway to your dream.

Finally, visualize that endpoint where your dream is happening. Once you see all this in your mind, bottle that image up. Imagine that whole story being bottled up into a tiny capsule, then take that capsule and condense it even smaller and smaller.

Now, imagine you're walking out into a field. As you enter the field, you find a spot in the center with the most direct sunlight. It's empty, it's quiet.

Now you dig a hole.

You dig that hole as deep as you can using just your hands. Because when you want your dream to happen, you must get your hands dirty. So you're digging, you're getting deeper and deeper into the Earth.

Deeper and deeper and deeper.

You have your seed with you. And you're just digging, digging, digging, digging, digging.

Prepare for your next breath.

As you finish that last exhale, you go back into that hole, dig deeper, and finally find that endpoint where your hands are tired, your nails are dirty, and you're exhausted. You've been digging all day, the sun is beaming on you, you're sweaty and tired, and now it's time to plant that seed.

This process is similar to what you do in life. You work so hard to dig the hole, and sometimes that hole feels like you'll never get out of it.

You may be in financial debt, you may have depression, or you may have heartache.

Whatever that hole is, you are digging deeper and deeper every day, and you don't even understand why you're digging this hole when you want to excel away from it.

Then you remember you have that seed in your hand.

That seed is your dream.

That one thing that you bundled up and put away so you could start digging that hole was the reason you were working as hard as possible to get through life, not knowing that you're getting ready to plant something that will bear you fruit in the future.

Prepare for your next breath.

Take that seed out of your pocket and place it in the hole beneath your feet. As you get it beneath your feet, climb out of the hole.

You climb step by step, progressing one inch at a time. It's going to be intense; it's going to be tough.

You'll feel like you can't make it, but you keep climbing until you reach the top of that hole. You climb out, and around that hole are mounds of dirt you kicked up as you dug the hole.

These mounds of dirt represent everything you had to go through in your life: negative energy, bad bosses, family members who didn't believe in you, debt, financial struggle, heartache, death, and depression.

Take all those dirt mounds representing your life's negativity and push them all into the hole until it is filled.

Prepare for your next breath.

Now that the hole is filled up.

All you see is a little spot where you've worked hard all day. The sun is starting to set; it's getting darker.

Next, you smooth out the ground where you planted that seed. As you smooth out that ground, you grab a stick, and you put that stick in the spot where you've been working all day.

Imagine that there's a piece of paper around that you just happened to have.

Place the piece of paper on the stick.

Write coming soon on that piece of paper because you're telling the world your dream is coming.

Here's the story's hard part: you now have to wait.

You have to visualize that seed growing and getting stronger in the dirt.

You imagine the energy of the seed starting to overflow. The small case is to the point where it will have to open up soon.

But it takes time.

So you sit back, and you wait, and as you wait, you continue to visualize that seed getting ready to blossom out of the ground.

You keep your eyes focused on that mound and that note on top of that mound that says:

Coming soon.

If you can keep that visual in your head, your dream will come true because it will be so easy for it to happen.

You should no longer stressed because all the mounds of stress and negativity are in that hole.

The pressure from all that negativity you put back in that hole, all that hard work you did digging, is all in that one spot.

All that pressure is doing is making that seed generate enough energy to blossom.

So patience is key.

If you can be patient, that visual you saw in your dream will become clearer.
