As you read through these guided meditations, there will be breaks to go through your breath cadences. Use the chart as a reference to start once you are comfortable. Perform the breath cadences with your eyes closed to promote the visualization of your dream coming true.

Ensure you are comfortable reading this meditation series to get the most out of it.

Enjoy.

Part 3 is all about preparing for the storm.

Before we start, I want you to get into a relaxed position.

Roll your shoulders back. Lift your chest.

Prepare for our breath cadence.

Let your body relax. Let's get prepared for the storm.

So, in the last part, we talked about protecting our peace. We built up walls around us. We put on armor. We fortified our bodies, our minds, our spirits, and we got ourselves prepared.

I know you may be thinking, prepared for what?

You're getting prepared for a storm.

Now, I know you're wondering why a storm would be coming.

The reason is that everything will attack you when you're off guard, and the time you're off guard the most is when you're planting your seed.

Storms tend to come when your seed has been planted; after they are planted and starting to grow, storms will cause the seed to grow strong.

That is why there is a stormy season right before crops grow.

The weather must be rocky to promote growth.

Lift your head. Roll your shoulders back.

Prepare for your next breath.

As you relax on that last exhale, focus on that storm you hear in the distance.

Focus on the complete silence around you. You can smell the moisture in the air. You can hear the minor rumblings from the storm off in the distance. The sky starts to darken.

The temperature drops around you.

Luckily, you have already built those walls around you.

So, although you can feel the storm coming, you are protected.

You can hear and smell it getting closer, but you know it cannot hurt you.

Prepare for your next breath.

As you hear that storm starting to approach, I want you to know that a storm is necessary for you to progress through life.

When storms happen, they bring an abundance of water.

Water is needed for crops to grow. In the first chapter, you planted your dream. You put the seed into the ground, returned to your spot, and remained patient. In the second chapter, you protected your peace and did that so you wouldn't get wrapped up in the distractions around you that can break your focus.

In this chapter, we talked about preparing for the storm, and sometimes, you must wait for the water when you prepare for a storm.

Think about when you needed to wait for the water in your life.

Think about the job application you just submitted or your proposal at work.

Maybe that credit card application.

That application to get a house, a new car.

Perhaps you just submitted your school application.

These are all times when you're waiting for water; the problem with abundant water is that it comes in a storm.

Whenever you see negative things happening around you while waiting for something good to happen, do not look at those things as if they're trying to deter you from your goal.

They are the storm that brings the water needed to help your seed grow.

Prepare for your next breath.

As you see those negative things happening in your life and you're thinking back on how they were meant to deter you, think about the seeds you planted and realize that the storms are coming into your life.

Maybe your car is getting ready to break down.

Perhaps you don't have the money to put towards that new house.

Maybe the school that you applied for shows it doesn't have any openings.

Remember, these are all storms that are coming. And the beauty of being able to see a storm coming is you can prepare for it.

I want you to go back to your protection.

Imagine those walls around you protecting your peace, that armor draped on you, preparing you for the storm.

That armor is the defense system that can withstand anything coming towards you.

Believe in that.

Have faith in that.

Prepare for your next breath.

Let your mind slow down.

Enjoy the stillness of the environment around you.

We all know that term, the calm before the storm, and this is the calm before the storm.

I want you to enjoy the calmness before the storm.

Know that you are protected.

Know that you are prepared for the storm to come.

Know that when that storm comes, it's bringing abundant water that will help your seed grow.

That seed that contains your dream be ready for it.

Welcome it into your life.

Because after the storm passes, that's when true success starts.

Prepare for your next breath.
