Part 7: Developing Your Fruit: Unleashing Your Potential and Reaping the Rewards of Your Dream

Part 7: Developing Your Fruit: Unleashing Your Potential and Reaping the Rewards of Your Dream

Breath Cadences:

  • Inhale 8 Seconds, Exhale 8 Seconds
  • Inhale 4 Seconds, Exhale 4 Seconds

Remember:

As you read through these guided meditations, there will be breaks to go through your breath cadences. Use the chart as a reference to start once you are comfortable; perform the breath cadences with your eyes closed to promote the visualization of your dream coming true.

Ensure you are comfortable reading this meditation series to get the most out of it.

Enjoy.

We talked about planting your seed,  protecting your peace, preparing for the storm, and weathering the storm.

We talked about the calm after the storm and then watched your dream grow.

Now, when your dream starts to grow, one thing needs to happen with a dream.

You have to remember a dream is just a thought.

It's just patterns and sequences that go on in your mind, but when it comes to fruition, that is like when the tree finally bears fruit.

In this chapter, we will discuss developing your fruit, which is the product of your dream.

For the breath cadence, we will go into 8 seconds in and 8 seconds out for the number of new beginnings.

We will also use the four-second breath, which is all about development. That's 4 seconds in 4 seconds.

We will start with the 8 seconds in and 8 seconds out for the new beginnings.

Roll your shoulders back and get into a relaxed state. Sit in a position where you can be comfortable and focused.

Squeeze the shoulder blades together, lift the chest, and lengthen the spine.

We're going to do two breaths. Let's start our breath cadence.

Let's talk about developing your fruit.

When you develop your fruit, you use your dream as the blueprint to create the product.

We've talked about getting a house, a job, and moving up in your job.

When you do all those things, you start with the blueprint or the dream.

To develop the fruit and produce the product of that blueprint, you first have to start with the basics.

What is step one to executing your dream and developing your fruit?

For example, step one wouldn't be to fill out an application if it's getting a new job.

Step one would meet the job's look.

For example, if you want to be an executive at a company before you fill out the application, you want to go out and get a suit that shows you look like the executive or the uniform of the executive.

Once you get that suit, you've already started to prepare that fruit, so when you fill out the application and walk into that interview, you look like the role you're applying for.

Now, if you're starting your own business, you want to start with creating the product.

For example, if you're creating a shoe company, buy that first piece of fabric to make the shoe; even if you don't have money for the rest, buy that first piece of fabric because that's how you develop the fruit.

Get that first piece ready; then, you can build around it.

Let's do our four four-second breaths.

As you focus on that first piece of your fruit being developed, I want you to figure out what goes around it.

When we weathered a storm, we talked about building up walls.

The same thing applies when developing your fruit.

Take the blueprint, find the first step, and execute the first step.

I will use the analogy of building a house from here on out.

When you build a house, you start by building the floor; as you put the foundation down, you want to start building the walls around it.

As you build the walls around it, you add pillars, and the pillars inside the house will hold up the roof.

Lastly, you put the roof on top.

From there, you add the door, and then, as the house is fully built, you input the furniture, appliances, and everything else that goes in there.

The blueprint we planted. It was our dream earlier in this book.

As the blueprint sprouted into the tree, the fruit is what we have to create.

The creation process of the fruit is how the ripe apple grows on the stem, and it's tiny to start with. Then, over time, it develops into an edible piece of fruit.

Think about your dream as that fruit in the small, unripened stage.

It's out there; you've already created it, but to develop it, you have to put time into it, water it, and keep going through the same process you did when it was just a seed.

For that fruit to develop, you have to input more time, and now it's not so much about patience but more about persistence.

Now you have to tend to the fruit, ensure the fruit grows, ensure it stays healthy.

Think about your dream in the same mindset.

Prepare for your next breath.

I want you to take away from this chapter: how will you develop your fruit?

What is the first step you need to take to develop your fruit?

What first step must be taken if it's getting a new job?

If it's starting a business, think about the first step you need to take to get it started.

Whatever your dream is, you've already created the blueprint, and now that the blueprint is there, what is the first step of executing that blueprint and developing your fruit?

We're going to do two four-second breaths, and as we do these two breaths, think about that first step.

Use this time, this silence, to focus on the first step in developing your fruit.

Whatever that step may be, see yourself doing it.

See yourself making that decision.

By the end of today, ensure you execute that first step.

We will finish with one more eight-second breath to get the new beginning of developing your fruit.

Start resetting your shoulders. Roll them back a few times.

Lift your head.

Make sure your spine's aligned.

Prepare for your next breath.
