Part 9: Building for the Next Generation: Extracting Seeds from Your Fruit

Part 9: Building for the Next Generation: Extracting Seeds from Your Fruit

Breath Cadence:

Inhale 5 Seconds, Exhale 5 Seconds

Remember:

As you read through these guided meditations, there will be breaks to go through your breath cadences. Use the chart as a reference to start. Once you are comfortable, perform the breath cadences with your eyes closed to promote the visualization of your dream coming true.

Ensure you are comfortable reading this meditation series to get the most out of it.

Enjoy.

We are on the 9th chapter of the Growing Your Dream series, and over this time, we've gone from planting your dream. We went through storms and learned how to protect our peace.

We developed our fruit, and we learned why serving it is essential.

From here on out, I want to talk about how to extract the seeds from your fruit.

The reason why I want to go over this is because after you're done serving your fruit, you have to be able to have something else to grow for the next generation.

When you eat fruit, for example, if you're eating an apple or watermelon, it has seeds.

Usually, we take the seeds, discard them, and get rid of them because they are meant to grow new trees.

That's the cycle of life that you go through.

After you've grown the fruit and served it, and it has been eaten, you take the seeds back and replant them.

In this chapter, we're going to talk about extracting the seed from your fruit, and we're going to go over exactly how we will do that.

We will go into a four-breath cadence for today's breath cadence: the number of buildings.

Get yourself into a position, a position of building.

Sit where your back is straight and your head is aligned, roll the shoulders back, and talk about extracting the seed from our fruit.

Now, when your dream has grown and bears fruit that you can serve people, imagine yourself as a carpenter.

One of my favorite analogies is the carpenter who lives in a village; he builds for people, and his fruit is the products that he builds.

If he builds chairs and tables, he may build chairs and tables for everybody in the community so everybody has somewhere to sit and eat.

As he continues to build these chairs and tables, he will get out of this fruit with extra leftover wood that he can put away.

As he puts that wood away, he uses it to build his house.

Think about your dream.

Think about the fruit from your dream and what seeds you can extract from that fruit.

Prepare for your following breath sequence.

As you relax, think about the seed you can extract from the fruit you serve.

What part of your dream are you on?

Are you on the part that you're serving fruit?

If you are, think about the fruit that you're serving. Think about the people that are consuming your fruit.

Now, find the seeds that you can extract from it.

Another example is as a personal trainer; my fruit was giving my fitness knowledge to multiple people, getting them in shape, and helping them meet their fitness goals, whether losing weight, gaining muscle, or getting healthier overall.

The seed I needed to extract from the fruit I was serving was the knowledge of the physical ailments that people went through.

I would plant those seeds of information in my mind to develop them into other routines to help other people so that when I brought on more clients or could teach a new class, I had more fruit to serve to more people.

Think about your job.

If your job is your dream job, what seeds can you extract from it?

I keep bringing up the carpenter analogy because it's the easiest one to pull from.

If a carpenter can build a house, remember the seeds he will extract from that house will be the extra wood needed to build a new house.

Remember, when you plant your dream, you're always blessed with abundant fruit, meaning that whatever is left over, you can use it to extract the seeds.

Let's go into another breath sequence.

Remember this: when you grow a tree, there is fruit, and that fruit from that tree may be able to feed people for a little while, but as that fruit disappears and that tree starts to get older and can no longer bear fruit, you need seeds to grow another tree.

Now, one tree may have enough fruit to feed a whole village, but an entire forest of trees has enough fruit to feed the world.

Extracting your seed from the fruit you serve allows you to plant trees to serve more people beyond what you can even imagine.

Your dream is not just for you.

Yes, the fruit you bear will bring you wealth and may bring you joy, but always remember to extract the seeds from the fruit because those seeds are for the next generation.

That's more important than an initial dream because if you don't extract those seeds, then the initial process of planting your dream is worthless, and it will only last for your lifetime, not the lifetime of the people who come after you.

We're going to do one final round of work breaths.

Today was all about extracting the seed from your fruit.

You can shake your neck and roll out your shoulders, and I will see you in the next chapter, where we will conclude this book.

Thank you for your time.
