Meet the Owner

The Man Behind the Message: Glenn Payne Jr.

My fitness journey began in 2012—right after my basketball career ended. In that moment, I had a choice: step away from the game I loved, or find a new way to keep my dream alive in a new way. I chose the second path. What felt like an ending became the beginning of a new mission—mastering fitness and helping others do the same.

Since then, I’ve earned a wide range of certifications, from MMA strength and conditioning and Spartan SGX to Les Mills BODY PUMP, yoga, cycling, and more. Each one represents more than credentials—it reflects my commitment to understanding how the body, mind, and spirit work together. That holistic approach is the foundation of everything I teach.

Over the years, I’ve led thousands of classes and coached countless people through camps, challenges, and transformations. Today, my greatest passion is building high-impact programs and experiences that help people do more than “work out.” I want you to grow stronger, move with purpose, and create a life you’re proud of—because fitness isn’t just about strength. It’s about the story you build through discipline, struggle, progress, and victory.

I truly believe every person has the power to be the hero of their own fitness story. Whether you’re training for your first class, taking on a Spartan Race, stepping back into sport, or simply trying to feel better in your body—your journey matters. My role is to help you write the next chapter: overcoming obstacles, pushing past limits, and becoming faster, stronger, and wiser.

I still compete in adult basketball leagues, Spartan Races, and other fitness challenges because I believe in leading from the front. The journey doesn’t end—it evolves.

Outside of fitness, I’m a devoted husband and father. The legacy I’m building—Faster Stronger Wiser—is bigger than a brand. It’s a mission, a message, and a gift to my family: the values I live by and the lessons I want to pass on.

The Mission

My mission is simple: help you see yourself as the hero of your own fitness story. I know what dedication, resilience, and heart can build—and I’m here to guide you through your journey, one step, one rep, and one win at a time.

How do I stay in shape?

I’m asked all the time how I stay in shape, and honestly, it’s not a secret supplement or some complicated program—it’s my FSW Daily Workout. It’s simple, measurable, and it keeps me honest every single day.

Here’s how it works: I break my training into four sections—weighted strength, bodyweight mastery, cardio, and skills—and I track reps daily. If I don’t get any reps in that day, I mark it as a failed day. Not to beat myself up—just to stay accountable. Because results don’t come from motivation… they come from consistency.

For my weighted lifts—barbell clean & press, bench press, and Zercher squat—I start at my starting weight and build toward the goal weight of 100 lbs. Every time I hit 100 reps, I automatically move up 5 lbs on the next round. The long-term goal is mastery: 10,000 reps at 100 lbs. When I hit that, that lift is officially mastered and marked complete.

Then I do the same thing with bodyweight moves like clap push-ups, squat jumps, pull-ups, burpees, leg lifts, ab wheel rollouts, heavy bag work, hand grips, and foot flexes—10,000 reps each, tracked daily, with a completion percentage so I always know exactly how close I am.

Cardio stays just as clear: I track jump rope reps until 10,000, and I run until I hit 1,000 miles—again, with progress percentages and total days tracked.

And for the last section, I track skill reps up to 10,000, plus I record shots made and missed daily so I can see my shooting percentage in real time—and overall once I reach the full goal.

What makes this the “secret” is that it gives me something I can actually stick to daily. No guessing. No vague “I’ll work out harder tomorrow.” It’s either reps logged or it’s not. And that daily structure is everything—because the best workout plan in the world is useless if you can’t repeat it. This one keeps me focused, keeps me progressing, and keeps me in shape because it turns fitness into a daily standard, not a sometime thing.

If you’re ready to lock in, check out my FSW Daily Workout below and start tracking your reps today—mastery is earned one day at a time.
